Dominos Newsletter

Newsletters are one of the main tools for online marketing these days. Our inbox is flooded with new ones every day or week... but though subscribed do we go through them all?

Yesterday while going through my mails I was surprised to see the Dominos news letter September issue. Earlier they used to focus only on their product. A yummy pizza picture would the main attraction apart from the offers and new offerrings.

For a change this time it was different! I must say I liked going through the whole newsletter this time. Aesthetically it's too good. Hope it works as a good online marketing catch!

What are Pixels?
They are the building blocks of an image. When we view an image the individual pixels are not distinguishable to us. They together place themselves beside each other to form the image. It is the smallest unit of a picture.
Here is an example. The small circle is actually made up of several small sruares of different shades of yellow.




Vector Graphics
Vector images are smaller in size(not dimension). The image information is represented by formula.


Raster Graphics
In raster graphics the image is represend by the pixels unlike mathematical formula as in vectors.Fille formats like .bmp, .jpg, .tiff are raster formats.
